I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already—Fernie Log Carver has been part of the Fernie, BC community for a full decade!

My name is Michael Arnold Penny, and I’ve been carving along Highway 3 in Fernie for the past 10 years. Over that time, the idea for Bits and Bars has been taking shape in my mind—an online store dedicated to power carvers.

We’re starting strong with Cannon carving bars and Saburrtooth carving burrs as our launch products, and we already have a solid inventory ready to go. This is just the beginning—we plan to add more high-quality carving products in the near future.

Our approach is simple: we only carry products that I personally use and trust, so you know they’re reliable. Our goal is to create a service-oriented retail business for carvers, a one-stop shop for your chainsaw carving essentials.

My wife Isabel manages the day-to-day operations of BitsandBars.com—she’ll be the friendly voice on the phone, the one filling your orders, and the person answering your emails. Together, we look forward to supporting and serving the carving community!
